I drained the oil out of the hydraulic reservoir and only got
about a quart. Anyone know how much the capacity is since the
dipstick is gone.

Thanks,

There are two different hydraulic packages used on the 705. I'll reply with the capacity from my I&T book tomorrow.

My parts catalog matches to a Type E Group 1. The
Group 2 is a lot different.

Thanks,

Hi, My I&T book doesn't give the capacity of the hydraulic system. Looks like you should be looking for a dipstick.

You are right about the dipstick. There is one shown
in my parts book but it is missing on my tractor. I
planned to make on by filling it to spec, making the
dipstick and marking it by seeing where the oil level
is. New plan required!

Thanks,
