Got a chance to buy a MM670 Super. Diesel engine runs, but with a knock, 65% rubber. What would be a fair price? Does anyone know what horsepower I am looking at? Are engine rebuild parts readily available? All help appreciated. Thanks!!

I purchased a 1969 MM 670 Super Gas at an auction in Northern Illinois about 2 weeks ago. It has 3 pt hitch, dual remote hydraulics, etc. and was in good shape, but could use new rubber. I paid $3700. There seems to be parts available for it in my area. Best Wishes.

I bought a 1969 670 Super Diesel at auction this spring for $2,000. No 3 pt or dual pto, just 540. Tractor is in fair shape. Torque Amplifier seems ok but still trying to determine that. Hydraulic system was neglected to the point the filter came out in pieces. Cleaned that out, new fuel filters and an oil change have given some piece of mind. Ran a New Holland 849 round baler on it earlier this week and seemed to have plenty of power for that in the ditch I was baling. Seems to be real handy tractor. I believe the 670 was rated at 73 hp if I remember Brian Rukes' book correctly. Good luck.
