I am having problems with the PTO...it will not turn under load...I am unable to find a service manual..to repair....the engine will labor a little..but the shaft will not turn...suggestions.?it works okay with no impliment hooked up..

get a I&T manual it describes in depth how to adjust the pto clutches. I think the 1050 is one of the MM that has the pto clutch at the bottom of the tractor and the pto brake at the top of the rear end, as long as you are draining the rear end, adjust them both.

I'm no expert but sounds like the clutch-pak is worn on PTO shaft. They have ten or so discs in them that warp and wear. Have to open up gear
case below seat area to get usually. I'm not familier with this model, lots of later models
MM's were more oliver in rear and you need to use oliver Manuals to work on them. If you check a listing of ITT Tractor Mans you will see which models of MM's are covered in their books and which Oliver's are covered in MM books. Says right on contents list of each book. Check this site for Links to Manuals. Sometimes Farm Stores
have these, not always that old or odd ones. "G"
