Do any of you puller people know of a hot ignition for my JS3 on lp gas. I'm not using it for a pulling tractor. I just want a hotter ign. for cold weather starting and overall better performance. Thanks for any help.

Hi, Get a MSD 6 at the auto parts store. It is a capacitor discharge ignition. It will fire a signaficantly hotter spark. Some call it arc welder ignition. By the way LP is hard to fire and this MSD box works will on the application. LP really gets hard to fire around 10 degrees above zero. I picked up a gear in the same weight class by adding a MSD 6. I'd start with the same plugs as stock but gap them to .038". I have trouble with missfire when I run more gap than that. I you want to run big gap you'll should get 8 mm plug wire while you purchase the MSD box. : : : Do any of you puller people know of a hot ignition for my JS3 on lp gas.
