Ok, I was doing something I should not have been doing with my M-5 with a loader and I got a little hard on the brakes. Then all of the sudden the left brake pedal went to the floor and there is no brake on the left side. Something broke, just trying to figure out what. Guess I will open it up this weekend and see what falls out of the cover. Anyone done this before, or have a guess as to what I am going to find?? I dont mess with brakes too often, but with all the snow you need them sometimes. I dont think this tractor has band brakes, but I guess I will find out.

The M5 has double disc brakes. probably a rod broke or a pin fell out. Good Luck

Took the brakes apart last weekend, could not find anything broke, so I turned the disks over and roughed them up a little (looks like I got them hot) and put them back in and adjusted them about 5 or 8 rounds tighter and it work about 3/4 of what it was. Look like I am going to need new disks soon. Thanks.
