Roy, On the Avery "R" and "A", the serial number is stamped directly into the RH Rail, just next to the shifter. My MM BF has the serial number R3648 just next to the shifter.

Roy, Avery did not have tags on the frame. They stamped the serial number directly into the frame rail. On a model V its on the RH rail near the bell housing on the top side of the rail. I'm not sure but I think model R or MM BF's etc are somewhere near the rear end housing still on the frame rail. Hope this helps. Brian
