Anyone else have a problem or a solution to a leaky connector where the power steering connects to the hydralic pump?

Hi Adam. If yours is like mine the 3/8's steel line cracks under the flare nut. I finally bought a short rubber hose with heavy steel ends that fit in the pump, turned the corner and cut the original steel line, flared it and screwed it on the new flex hose, haven't had any trouble yet and its lasted quite a long time. I got the hose at Tractor Supply, about $7. Good luck.

Is this a threaded connection? tapered/compression type fitting? It it is just threaded try some teflon tape. roll it on counterclockwise on the threads, it will stay on better when you are tightening it down.
