I have a 1945 U with a strait block that has a cracked cylinder. Does anyone know what the largest size pistons and sleeves that can be installed in one of these? And what other model parts have successfully worked? Thanks for your knowlege.

a cracked sleeve is pretty hard to deal with i would replace the block for a stock application for pulling i have bored them to 4.75,5.5,5.75 and 6.125 this obviously takes a lot of modification to make work and is definitly not for the beginner and yes they all hold water just fine so dont let people tell you it cant be done

I have a 47 With kef engine took 125 overbores out and went back standard. Don't know for sure how big can bore what are you using it for. if pulling only and money not a problem can machine out top of block and make deck with extemely large sleeves
