I purchased a jetstar(2). It is painted yellow and brown with Jetstar 2 decals. However, when I got to checking the serial number (16502391), that number puts it at a jetstar. It is Lpg and some of the sources I check do separate gas from diesel.

Were LpG models included in with gas?

Were all jetstars all brown?

It doesn't matter much to me about the jetstar or jetstar 2. I like the yellow and brown combo. It is need of restoration and who would know the difference?

There aren't any CORRECT POLICE in the Moline area?..... ..... .....

KB,
MM did not seperate the serial numbers for the gas and LP jet stars. You have a 1962 Jet Star. It would have been all brown originally but I feel you should paint it anyway you want as long as you know what you have. The jet star and jet star II were essentially the same tractor anyway.

I think all Jet Star's were all brown. I have a diesel and have been trying to make the same decision. Their were 2 colors brown. Metallic and non-metallic. I have about decided to go all brown except wheels and yellow there. I would go with whatever you like. I think the LP's were listed with with the gas.

The jet stars were painted bronze with a brown tint. The dyna brown was used for the chasis on the jet star 3's and 3's super along with the M670, G1000, ect.The jet star 2's had the dyna brown chasis and the M-M yellow hood, fenders, rear wheel center dish and front wheels. The rear rim was painted silver. if you need decals call Deurs at 231-924-3420
