What are the procedures for pulling the crank out of my MM ztu with ball bearing, main bearings?
I have the heads etc. off and am about to split the crank case because it looks like it comes out the back.

Do I need to know anything special about R& Installation of the clutch?

Crankshaft on the Z comes out the side of the engine block, not the rear.. (The MM R's, EE engines come out the back). Splitting the tractor is not hard to do and may make the job easier. Just mark everything as you take it off. I also, marked my crankshaft and flywheel assy. with paint. It is possible to get the flywheel on the crank, 180 degress out on a EE engine.. I suppose it can be done on the Z too.

Make sure you can support the front half of the tractor independantly of the rear and roll the two halves apart, makes it easy.
