I just bought a 5 bar hay rake and it needs alot of work. I can't find a serial number or anything like that on it. Does anyone know where I can parts for it?

Does your rake have steel wheels? If so, it's probably an OMA rake. Moline made two versions of this rake. One was a straight rake and the other was a rake / tedder. You can tell the difference by looking at the teeth and the drive gears. If the gears are enclosed and the teeth are angled, it is a straight rake. The rake / tedder has open gears and straight teeth. I had two of these rakes that I made one good one out of and have a lot of parts left that I will probably end up scrapping if no one has a use for them.

I bought one about a year ago. Mine is all there with the exception of some teeth. If you figure out were to find them I would like to know. Thanks Chris S.

My boyfriend and I are working on get it working. I found the number to a guy in Gnadenhutten, Oh. We are going to go down the first of next week to go through his index books to see what we can find. If we find someplace to get original parts I will let you know. As for now, we went to Farm and Fleet last night, we found some teeth that are rubber at the top. They work perfectly!
