The Ampli-Torque on my MM670 does not shift from Low to High gear. I don't believe any of the gears are shot. Can anyone give me some ideas on how to correct this problem.

Does the tractor seem to slip when the torque is moved forward? Oil can sometimes work its way forward on the shaft. Been there and done that. Also try to tighten the torque right below the lever on the right side.

It is possible the roll pins in the shift arm have broke. It has been years since this happened to one of my M5's, so bear with me. Remove the side inspection plate. Look in tourqe housing while moving the shift arm. You should be able to see if the forks are moving. If the roll pins have sheared this can be fixed without splitting the tractor. You will have to lift or remove the fuel tank and remove the top cover. You should be able to put new roll pins in from the top.

If the shift lever snaps into high position but it stays in low range it could be the tabs on the outer edge of clutch plates have all sheared off. This is not very common but it can happen. Tractor will have to be split to fix this problem.

Anybody know where to get parts for the Ampli-Torque system? I need the clutch discs mentioned in the note posted by Harrold Rhodes
