I am replacing the GE30E heads on a 49' U with slightly newer 4209 heads. The 4209s use a different size spark plug than the GE30Es, which used the big ones. Any ideas on where I could find spark plug specs for the 4209 heads?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have had good luck with the388 Autolites and the AC C-87 with the gasoline engines. Champions were good until the curent days of the lower grade gasoline. Now the champions foul out in a couple months. We have used the others in the same tractor for almost two years now.

Hello,
I would say that a Champion D-16, or a D-21 would be a good choise, thats what i got in my tractors. I even have a UB propane that had D-14 plugs when i got it, so i just left them and it runs good. Why are you replacing the heads and what are you going to do with the old ones, if there good i might be intrested in them.
Thanks
Shawn
