My fatherinlaw recently got back this tractor that he and his family bought new. The problem is the Cable has split and come out of the transmission and we need to time the transmission if you will so we can put it back together, any knowledge of how to do this would be helpful , currently it is in a high gear.

You may have posted to the wrong board- here on the MM board, we'll discuss the fine points of Ampli-Torq's at some length, but will generally agree that the Select-o-speed is just an unfortunate chapter of American history that has mercifully been closed.
