I need to know the correct size rear tires and size and type for the front (3 rib ?). Also, I believe Praire Gold is the right body color but what about the wheels? They appear to be red, but what code #. Thanks Jerry

Jerry,

Measure your rear rims like Kelvin said. If you have an 8" rim it will take a 9.5 tire. A 9" rim took the old 10 x tire which is now an 11.2. A 10" rim took the old 11 x tire which is now a 12.4. The fronts would be either a 5.50 x 16 or 6.00 x 16, your choice, most having been the tri-rib. As for your paint, PPG # DAR72083 H is a perfect match. I try to dissuade people from using the IH red, looks nice on Farmalls, but not Minnie Mo's; especially when sitting next to a tractor with the right color. Hope this helps.

Jim

To figure what size rear tire your tractor uses, you need to know what diameter and width your rim is.
I don't know how many different widths of tires were used on ZTU's but I do know that some used 38" tires and some used 36" tires. For instance, my 1938 uses 9.5-36's. My advice would be to measure the rim inside the bead area and width between flanges and call Miller tire. (they have a website) they can tell you what tire is a correct fit for your rim. I really don't know about front tires.
I used Martin Senior cherry-(forgot the number) for the wheels. I understand some guys use International Harvestor red, which is about the same color.
