Dipstick rust

My '53 U has rust on the dip stick. The rust has appeared after I changed the old oil and put in some new, and different brand non-detergent oil. The tractor sits in a damp shed and is only run one weekend per month or so and has been runlike this for 15 years with no rust, and infrequent oil changes, until I changed the oil. I had posted earlier and had recieved good advice, but I had neglicted to say that the onset of rust coincided with my change of oil. I am putting in a fan to try to keep the shed moisture about the same as the outside air.

Is is possible that there is an additive in the oil that could be causing this? What is the rust doing to the rest of the inside of the engine? Is a engine overhaul necessary in the near future?

Any comments or posts are appreciated.

Looks to me as if when you do run the tractor, the engine isn't getting hot enough to evaporate any condensation that may be there. Put it to work for a couple hours in the field and it will keep the engine free of any accumulated moisture. Stopping and starting any engine and not getting it up to operating temp is about the worst thing I can think of.
