I am located in Syracuse, NY and am looking for a decent running, straight "UB" or "UB-Special" within a few hundred miles. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where a guy could find one & what he should expect to pay? Thanks

Bought a nice straight 53 ub this fall for 1100 . neeeded alittle tlc and a radiator job . I would think 12-1700 for a running model.

My father in-law just asked me to look up the value of a 1916 minneapolis Moline so your in luck however; I know very little about tractors and have no other information for you except to say that it is all original. He is located near Geneva Ny. E-mail me and I will ask him what you need to know and get back to you. He has other tractors if you know of someone who might be looking for something. (I know one is around a 1953 Massey Harris.)

Mr. Deere Puller,
I am quite baffled by your response. I can't follow the logic. Does this mean you don't believe there are ub's selling in ill and ind regions for 2-3500 dollar range as stated by Mr. Larry H or is it the response by the dear fellow in Illinois who has one for 1200? I know who Larry H is and I believe he is an avid moline collector/mechanic and knows his stuff. I don't know who the other fellow is from Illinois, and maybe he has a moline ub he would like to sell for 1200.00. So what? Larry is telling the best of his knowledge, and the other fellow wants to sell his tractor for 1200.00, so what? Just my two cents somebody has to tell him.

I think you need a brush-up on how the postings work on the board - 'Answer' was the first reply to my post - Reminding me that I didn't leave an e-mail & therefore may have just been BS'ing about interest. Bottom post is the first reply, except when a person makes a post in response to an existing post, as you have done. I have been very happy with the info sent to me over e-mail and via posts, as I am looking to purchase one of these rigs in the near future.
