Can anyone tell me the copression ratio of a 1947 MM UTU with the KEF engine and the HC gasoline head. I believe is number is 282C, but don't quote me on this. The head has a big H-C on the spark plug side.

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Thank you for the replys I visit Jeremy's site quite often. I am curius also like the last person to post is...I am assuming H-C means high compression, Because, I have heard of L-C heads. The H suffix head would be for propane?

Thanks Taylor for telling him about my site! I don't have the solid block head info there. I have the information just haven't put it up there yet.

Here is the few compression ratios I have for the solid block heads. You have to remove the valve cover to find the number it is between the secound and third cylinders.

KE282C is 4.3 to 1 compression
KE282D is 5.4 to 1 compression
KE282H is 6.8 to 1 compression
