I have an opportunity to buy a neighbor's MM 670 on Propane. Any thoughts? I have never operated a propane tractor. What is the availability of parts like? What should I pay for a running tractor?
Thanks!

The MM 670 in propane is a nice running tractor, we have one we use to auger some beans out in the winter. I don't believe you could work one all day on one tank of gas though, they gobble up the propane if you are running them at any speed. They burn clean, quiet, and smooth. I paid 2500 for my 670 lp widefront, three point, rears were only 20%, on last adjustment on cluch but ta works as does every thing else.

If it runs good and tires are good then it's worth what a 70 HP tractor is worth. Parts are available. The problem is in the fueling. If you aren't equipped with a 'wet leg' off your propane tank it will be VERY inconvenient to refuel. Turning a 100 lb. tank upside down to refuel is NOT the way to do it. Is it complete and usable? It isn't a common tractor but it isn't necessarily a collectors item.
