I am wondering what compression heads I have on my U. I number cast on the sdie is GE-30-E. Is this the number I need? If so are these low comp..or high? I am debating on pulling with it but am not sure I want to do a whole lot to it as it runs really good.

Ok I checked the site and the chart. Of course now I am still confused as that number is listed twice and with 2 different compression ratios. One is witha smaller engine and tractor fuel which I don't think mine is set to run as there is only one fuel tank on it. That one is 5.4-1. The other is a larger engine I think and reg gas which shows it at 7.08-1.

humm ya know, that compression tester is looking better and better.:)LOL!!!

10A4213 and a GE30J are both LP heads! The best place to compare heads is on Jeremy Fiorelli's site.... Lots of info on his site!

What you guys need to do is check out the chart on Jeremy Fiorelli's MM tractorpulling website.

If that doesn't get you there, do a search for Minneapolis Moline. I think it will show up there.

My '49 UTS has GE 30 E heads on it, too. I think these were the standard low altitude gasoline heads. I'm sure there was a LP head, and probably a high altitude gasoline head as well.

I saw your question about heads as I was just getting ready to ask basically the same question. Surely someone can post one of the charts that compares the different compressions. I need to know about GE30J,10A4206, and GE30F.
