5.75 bore and 7.5 stroke is possible and will definitly make more power than a 5 x 7 . Expensive yes it is. The most power per your dollar would be a 5.5 x 7 using 800 power unit blocks if they allow them in your area. You can bore the 800 to 5.5 with no sleeves and no worrys. Its pretty much all money down the drain any way

Well you can bore it to 6", but your piston will be bigger then the block, 5 1/2" is all i know you can do and that takes a lot of machining and new sleeves, and very pricey, 7" stoke is done easy, 7 1/2" stroke and your pushing it but will work, 8" is possible i guess, but never talked to anybody that has done it.
My machine shop guy told me that anything over 5" bore and 7" stroke and you just wasting money, he told me i could make just as much horsepower at 5 X 7 that i could at 5 1/2 X 7 1/2
I tend to believe him considering he has made many pulling engines and race engines, problem with a MM is getting air to it, the heads are the biggest drawback to it.
I have a stock 336 in my U and its pushing 90 horse just with head work and 97 octane fuel with a little booster in it.
Just my thought
