I've already been warned that the Hot-Line Equipment guide is inacurate, but I have to ask you guys if these exist...G-850 and G-940. The book has serial numbers for the three years these tractors were supposed to be built (1971-73). The book lists serial numbers and no description what so ever, but does say both came in a 4WD, row-crop, and Wheatland-Riceland version. I've never seen or heard of them, but I'm no expert.

Brent,
I have a parts book for a G850 but I'm not familiar enough with the Olivers to know which one it is. It has part numbers but doesn't say what motor is in it. It does show several front end options as well as several rear wheel choices. The following Olivers were painted yellow and sold as MM's:
Oliver 1555 1970-75 = MM G-550 1971
Oliver 1655 1969-75 = MM G-750 1971
Oliver 1755 1970-75 = MM G-850 1971
Oliver 1855 1969-75 = MM G-940 1971
Oliver 1265 1971-75 = MM G-350 1971 - 3-cylinder
Oliver 1365 1971-75 = MM G-450 1971 - 4-cylinder John

A G850 Moline is the same as a 1755 Oliver. My GF's Dad has one and also has a 1755 and they are identitical except one is gas and one is diesel. I think it's a 1755 Oliver, I might be wrong but I know it is a 55 series.

So, yes, G850 Moline does exist.
