I got 2 delco conversions for electronic ignition. 1 went on a Jet 3 super other will go on U when finally get finished. Very simple conversion. Cost if remember correctly was around 30 each. I've seen delco electronics from a buick put on SC casa over at Wrights salvage at Quincy IL it took a little bit of machine work and customizing to get it on. Does work good though alot smoother advance

Did you know that there is electronic ign. units available for almost any distributer built. I get mine from HyCapacity or Tisco. They run about 85 to 100. dollars and it all fits under the dist. cap, the only clue that it is there is that you have two wires out of the dist. They also work will with worn dist. bushings, make for easier starting and more power at least that is what my customers till me.

You need to look that guy up.

That's like the guy who told me I could "Just" put a 403 power unit engine in a U. Several weeks, 1 custom made pilot bushing adapter, 1 'rigged' water return manifold, and about 3 hours of grinding to get the starter to slip into the transmission, and sure'nuff, she fit. Shoulda noted the grin on his face when he said that. . .

Seriously, what's got me puzzled is that I was thinking citation engines were all metric. It would be really strange for all the dimensions, shaft dia, o.d. of distribuitor housing, and length of those two to be that close that all you do is change the drive gear.

On the other hand, I saw a turboed 6 cyl G with a delco distribuitor on it once. but I figure he had a lot of machining on that setup to make it work.
