I have a 1969 M670 Super Gas. Started cutting-out while disking, sounding like an obvious fuel starve. Took fuel bowl AND filter/nipple essembly off, unscrewing it from the tank. Found the obvious problem, two large pieces of debris blocking the inside of the nipple. Put everything back together, added gas, tractor runs for about 1 minute, then just quiety dies. Start it again, same thing. Any ideas would sure be appreciated.

If the fuel bowl is plugging with rust or other
debris, try this. I take a short piece of copper
tubing or brake line, and put it in the fuel bowl
opening. 3/4 or a 1 inch peice will be long
enough. This will put the fuel inlet above the
debris and keep it open. However, you can never
use "all" of the fuel in the tank. Nothing more
embarrassing than to have a tractor die on the
parade route and have to clean the fuel bowl.

I'd check that nipple again. If you can look in the tank it'd be a good idea. I recollect we had a problem like yours when someone accidentally let some pine tree bark get in the gas tank. It'd float away from the drain until the carb started drawing fuel. If that is O.K., I'd check for trash or gum in the filter screen or in the main jet in the carb.

Seems like I remember Kelvin mentioning something like this on one of his JetStars.....might try looking in the archives.
