I don't know very much about these tractors and would like to learn as much as I can. Is there any good sites about them on the net? I would also like to purchase one some day. I have a couple of John Deere tractors but they are like butts, eveybody has one. I want to have something a little different. The 20-35 and 27-44 have gotten my attention the most. Can anyone help me?

The best way to learn about Twin City tractors is to go to a pioneer show and tell a collector what you are interested in and what you would like to learn about. As far as I know the 20-35 and the 27-44 are out there but they are getting harder to find. A freind of mine has a 20-35. and he paid good money for it unrestored. It's a 1918 model and far as he knows it's the earliest one known of.

The 27-44 and 20-35 were huge tractors. There was a 27-44 a while back on e-bay. Some day I'd like to have a 27-44 in my TC collection.

go to jetstar.minneapolis-moline.com and post this question there. I've never seen either model you mentioned, but some of those guys have.

The 20-35 is almost the same as the 27-44. Major difference is in the manifold and carb. There are a few other difference. They are a very interesting tractor, dual cams, 16 valves, lots of cubes. Some of the smaller tractors are easier to find and buy.
