MM RTI question

I have an RTI. It does not have a serial number plate on the tractor, but it has one on the engine.

The part that I am uncertain about, is that the front axle is fabricated out of I-beam and the strut system that goes from the front axle to the middle of the tractor is fabricated from 3/8" strap steel.

I would think that those parts should be cast. I wonder if this tractor is a real early model or a prototype maybe. I haven't seen another of these tractors, so don't know if they were all like that or not.

Dan,
Post the engine serial number. I should be able to tell you what year the engine was made. This should help you some. The 3 RTIs I have all have a cast I beam front axle. The tie rod is not flat strap steel either. I'm guessing someone fabbed these parts to keep the tractor going years ago. Just my thoughts.....
