A very serious question with this particular bottom oil-water On this MM. I have a raiditor. also a busted pan where the water mixes with the oil. can I plug the water from entering the pan and put extra oil since there is a raidiator. Was told the water in the bottom pan was only if there is no raidiator and its used in a irrigation type set up so water can flow though to keep the oil cool. Somebody let me know if I can plug the water hole going into the bottom oil pan and just have the raidiator cooling, come in come in so desperate to get the sawmill running and still have to get two throws on the crank repaired.

I'm assuming this engine has heat exchanger base pan. This was an option. Veryfew had this option. In fact i've never seen one on the 605 engine. We have thousands running in this area on irrigation wells and practiccally none of the 605's have the heat exchanger base pan. I would not hesitate to plug it off.
