Thank you for this b.b. I have a certain amount of MM, Oliver, Cockshut, White general knowledge but I need some help with the G1355 spicificly. It's #"s are: modle 135-22157 ser 242800-401 eng D585-6 #45202443. Sheet metal flawless, needs paint. Rice tires 20.8x38 1/2 tread w/ weather checks to cord. front fair, but don't match. Fuel fenders in good shape. no cab or rops. Hoses and wiring shakey, but everything works. Minor drewling, mostly fuel lines. Tie rod ends shot, all else seems really good. I'm wondering how much HP is this none turbo tractor supposed to have? Were any turboed? Assuming engine /tranny are ok (hour meter 225.11 not working)whats a fair price? Are there any known flaws with this modle I should be aware of? Thankyou in advance for any info.

Lori: Just one other thing to look at. These engines had a problem with the engine oil pumps failing. Check and see if it has the external oil pump mounted on the left hand side of the engine below the injection pump. This would also be a plus in your favor. Just trying to help out. MIKE

That G -1355 is a 1973 model. The G-1355 is the same thing as a 2-150 White. These tractors were good machines. There aren't really any weak points that I know of. Our 2-150 is running about 225 HP with an added on turbo. None of these tractors were turboed from the factory. Factory Hp is 142 from the one book I have. It can easily be increased safely to 160 -180Hp without any problems. Make sure the over/under works good too. I saw a 2-150 with a cab on at a sale go for $4,000 at a sale. It was in rough shape also. Our White we paid $6,500 for with duals and cab. I would personally pay at most $5,500. If you have any questions email me.

Thanks for the info. I ran it around the lot and the over under seems to be ok. I had $4000 in my head when I looked at it. The dealer will no doubt want a fat profit. Monday I'll get the price. Its good to know that you guys are here. Lori.
