I am restoring a 37 KTA and as there was nothing but rust where there was once paint and from what I have read I thought that the only red paint was on the radiator emblem. But when I started to sand blast the front wheel hubs and clamps I found traces of red paint. Did this late a model have red wheels or were the hubs replaced at some time? Also was there some kind of shifter boot and if so what did it look like? Thank You. Darrell

Darrell, yes the wheels and hubs could very will have been red. I own a KTA that is prairie gold with red wheels on it and it is orignal before I repainted it. There was also a shifter boot for it as well made out of canvas. I have the persons name you can get them from if want. Kevin "mushy" Moschenrose

I recently purcahsed a 1935 MM/Twin City KTA which was yellow with red rims aswell. However, upon closer inspection I found grey paint under the fenders. I assume somewhere along the line someone painted it.

I'll be painting it grey when it comes time.
