I would like to change the oil in the trans and finaldrive on a 5-star but don't know what type of oil to use. I have located the drain plugs but am unsure where to add the oil. Is the small plug on the side of the trans by the amplitorque the fill level?

You use 80-90W gear oil. The fill plug is the large plug by the gear shift levers for the main trans and the torque is filled by the plug by the torque lever. The check for these is located by the brake pedals. If you need a operators manual I have one to sell. Give me a email if you need more information.

Thanks for the info. I found the level plug by the brake but can not for the life of me find a large fill plug. All I can find is a 1 inch hole under a square inspection cover. All I can see is a flat metal plate that moves with the shift lever. Will this work for a fill hole?

That should work fine. I forgot that some models didnt have the plug. Have a good holiday weekend.
