Depending on the dirt anywhere's from 3 to 5 bottoms, always had 4 behind ours. 670's make pretty good pullers, ours has been tweaked to over a 100 hp at 540 rpm and almost never been beaten by a 4020 or 806, getting a little tired the last couple of years but still dynos over a 100, weighs 5600#. John Hulls WAUPUM MINNIE MO is still the only 4 cyl. to pull nationally, although we know of another one being built, and he won Badger State Points this year, is going back to Fort Wayne again this winter. That 670 will run with anything in the nation and has the same crankcase, crankshaft, cam, and blocks as yours has. What I'm saying is the original parts are pretty tough and the sky is the limit as performance is concerned. Dale
