The 585 valves are laid out like this:
E-I-E-I- -E-I-E-I- -E-I-E-I (or opposite depending which side you look at)

The 425, 451, 504, 605 & 800 gas & diesel are laid out like this:
E-I-I-E- -E-I-I-E- -E-I-I-E
The 283, 336, 340 & 403 heads are all the same as these.

You could possibly work around the bolt differences but would still have to have a cam made to match the valve layout to swap the 585 from or to the others.

I think the head bolt and lifter configuration is differnt. 336/504 blocks and heads should work.
