A while back I came across my first tractor. A 48 MM UTS. You guys have allready helped me figure out what it is (238ci 40 some horses if memory serves) anyway It was stuck solid (#3 spark plug was rusted to the point I had to use a 3 foot breaker bar to loosen) it been soaking it in PB blaster a couple months IT'S FREE I can now turn the fan by hand.I'm rambling (still excited) anyway, Now that it's free I can work on other stuff, the gas has "varnished" from sitting a few years. Figuring to rebuild the carb it's an up draft are these hard to work on the 'throat' is rusted real bad the choke doesn't work, what do I need to do to fix it? Then there is the Hydro pump I realy don't think I have the right one the guy I bought it from says the pump is designed to turn the opposite direction the tractor turns it. anyone out there have a pic of their hydro pump on their tractor posted somewhere I can see. Thank You for all your help.

The big thing to worry about in the carb is the main nozzle. If water has collected in there it can freeze solid. Its brass and doesn't take much to wring it off in there.

The correct hydraulic pump should have a 3-bolt flange at the back where the hydraulic manifold bolts on and has the supply tube and the high pressure hose mounted to it.
