Anyone out there know what year this tractor is? MM model RTS, ser# 402173 or 402176 also would like to know what this tracor might be worth its in not bad shape

Hayshaker,

That is a very nice find, they didn't make many 1939 RTS's. Yours is a very late one, number 402200 being the last 1939 model year produced. Looks like all the last 180 or so 1939's were RTS's, so I'd be surprised if it was anything else. Does it happen to be one of the tractors with a slit in the corner of the serial plate? Doesn't mean anything really, just that some had it. Value is so subjective that people don't like to stick their neck out and guess, there are just too many variables. It would certainly be worth several hundred dollars at least. Hope this helps.
