Thought I was being smart and started setting aside a few dollars for new rear tires and rims, they are not in the best shape and I know they will need replacement.

I was looking at the rear tires today and I can't believe it...but the rims are completely welded to the shell/center disk...it's a continuous weld too!

It looks like all the areas to bolt on the rims to the disks have been removed. My neighbpr thought it would take a lot of time and effort to bring them back...sounds like it might be better to replace them.

I can get tires and rims for a fair price that I can afford.

but...

1 where do I get the disks for an 8N?
2 about how much $$$?
3 are all the disks universal on the 8N..and/or 9's and 2's

I thought I would start looking now.

Thanks

Hi Sal, nice to meet another Ford lover in the Syracuse area. I am in Cicero. I have Fords a little newer but want an 8N someday; I drove one on the farm as a kid. Bill
