Garbage Made in China

I recently purchased a new shiny Radiator that was supposed to fit my 8N. It turns out I wasted $155.00. Once I installed the Radiator with the new fan shroud, the fan blades would hit the shroud. I tried installing rubber mounts and that didn't seem to help. Also the radiator was hitting the front axle support and the radiator was too short and the neck would not stick up through the hood far enough to install the cap. To be honest with everybody, I'm sick and tired of purchasing all this foreign made junk. Sorry but I just needed to get this off my chest.

At least your Chinese radiator held water. The one I saw somebody else buy and wound up making work not only had the lower outlet in the wrong place--too far to center to clear fan--but also needed the head tank resoldered to hold coolant.

If folks keep buying this junk then parts that work are going to be impossible to find since "bad money drives out the good"

Your mileage may vary

My butcher has a sign up that says, "Good meat ain't cheap and cheap meat aint good." I can tell the difference at 200 yards because the cheap ones do not have the crank hole and do not have vertical bars on the outside. I would not buy that crap..

I wouldn't either, but there are lots more folks who do.

Ever since the Chinese kept our Airmen for way longer than they should have I've been personally boycotting their products. The trouble is that so much stuff is imported from there that sometimes
I Can Not find a part made elsewhere.
Even a part from Korea would be politically better than one from China though the quality isn't much better at times.
You make me think about one of my life's little worries; Americans can not or do not make a bolt
or screw or casting, etc. any more.
It means that if we ever decide to boycott some one or, God Forbid, get into a war, we no longer have the industrial base to sustain our actions.
Long gone is the industrial base that built these tractors.
Part of the reason is economics I know and part also is our environmental laws. But the result is that we'll all have to get used to crummy, ill fitting, politically charged parts.
Thanks for letting me get this off MY chest.

If we ever get into a war with China, I don't think they're going to bust out the 8n radiators to help defeat us anyway.
