Hi a friend has a 9N supposed to be a 1943 he is wondering if it was supposed to be pos ground or not the battery totally boiled out on it. It still has the original generator. Also is there a correct 6 volt wiring diagram I could see on the net. Any help appreciated. thanks

if its supposed to be a 1943 then its supposed to be a 2N

boiled battery means too much charge - whats the amp charge while running?

yes, positive ground

Ed that's a very nice wiring diagram. Do you have one like it for a side mount 8N?

I wish I did...as a matter of fact I wish I made this one...this wiring diagram has been floating around here for a while and I have found it very useful for my 2N.
