The Case Vas is almost ready to start and run,The Cub 106 is all apart all over the place and today I was given a beautiful David Bradley rider with 3 point, new tires and belts, a 3 point planter, a middle buster plow and a disk. This machine is complete and original just parked 5 years or so.
And now I'm eyeballing a Ford N thats been parked in a shed untouched for at least 4 years right next to a Nasty Ferguson which I think is the N's replacement. my wife is in N.Y. for a few more days and if I hurry I can hide the N out back before she sees it and kills me outright. What do I do ????

What all those other guys are really saying is, if you get cold feet, any one of them would like to have a go for the N, including me and I just brought another one home, Sunday. Go get it and tell us about it. That's all the help I can give.

Better to ask forgiveness than permission? Tell her that each machine has a different function and thereby fills a necessary role in your overall scheme of envirionmental improvement around your estate.

A good argument is. She doesn't use the same pot and pan for everything does she?

If she went to N.Y. and left you there, alone, it is the same thing as granting permission. I,d say it's time to move on up to a Ford-n, you'll think of something intelligent to say when she gets home. The N sounds mighty lonesome and neglected, you'd be giving it a good home with lots of company. She should be real proud of you taking on the responsibility that way. I think most folks here will support your decision,if you need back-up.Good luck Ray.
