Yeah, I used the fabulous in-depth step-by-step carb rebuild guide in the archives by DON8NAZ. It was clear and very helpful. Interesting thing I found also in the archives are comments made by Zane about known problems with main jets Zane even saying that he has yet to find a main jet in the carbs and stating that the main jet is usually not removable...Can someone explain this to me?? Upon daylight inspection I do see some down below the main nozzle but there are no screwdriver notches if it is a seat for the main jet. I can I identify if this is the main jet and if it is damaged then how do I attempt to get it out? I let the entire carb (as recommended by the carb guide) to soak for an extremely long time. We shall see if I can truly determine if this is the main jet down there or perhaps just the threads for the nozzle. I will let you guys know. I have posted the archive comments by Dell and Zane for review... I would take the spring off and try turning it in till it bottoms and see if you think it still has a few threads left to go. If it does and when you get it back together you can't lean it enough remove some of the spring and try it again. I think that all their is to the main jet is a machined taper in the bottom of the carburetor just below the end of the high speed fuel nozzle and not removable.
