I just bought a 8N for working. It turns tighter one direction than the other. I tried to check the play in everything, and it seems tight. Is there an adjustment that I need to make?

Rad..... ...Several things to check.

First, get an I&T FO-4 repair manual. Readily available at sponsors of this great N-Board, many tractor parts emporiums, www.n-news.com, even Ford/New Holland fer peets stakes. $25 cheep, gettcha 1 and read it.

2nd, jack up the frontend and check the eaze of turning both directions. 3rd, make certain that the steering wheel toe-in draglinks are adjusted to the witness marks. 4th..... ...check the archives at the top of this great N-Board, many threads..... .....Dell
