have late steering gear and waunt to put in
tube of cornheader grease,Where do I pump the
grease in.Can I put it down steering shaft?
Thanks for help. My book does not say where to fill it.

My 8Ns have hollow steering shafts that you pour the grease down into the box. Just take off the steering column nut.

I fitted mine with a grease fitting. It's easy to drill and thread for a fitting. Then you can put it in under pressure and get better filling.

The FO - 4 manual isn't specific but the Master Parts Catalog shows a plug on the front side of the upper housing. This appears to be on the back side of the dash somewhere on some years only. Since you are putting in grease, I would just find a bolt that can be removed to access the insides and then temporarily replace it with a zerk.
