They are made of steel, they attach to you rear wheels, they have 3 1/2" teeth on them and they look kind of like sprockets that are the size of your tires. I could email a picture if I didn't explain it a enough. Sandy

OUCH! I bet that is a unique look! It would be tough to drive around on pavement I guess, but you'd never get stuck!
