Replaced the sediment bowl assembley and gas line today, it went fine once I got some decent parts!

My dad picked up the assembly for me at Quality Farm and Family...I have no idea why they put 'quality' in the name. The durn thing was garbage made in Turkey and the valve shut off would not even turn.

I took it back and when they asked if I would like to get another one I politely declined.

Went to the NH dealer, got a good assembly and headed to the barn and it went together very nicely.

Oh, and the NH dealer was $2 cheaper than Quality Farm and Family.

Why do I let that store dissapoint me all time...ugh!

LOL

Peace

Sal

I know... Recently someone remarked here on the short life of Quality Farm and Country points for their N. I bought mine there right before the post.

I purchased another set of points at NH dealer. The NH points cam follow arm looks like the points I used to buy for my 73 CHevy in '73. Nice heavy fiber embedded phenolic on the cam follower. I expect these will run a much longer time than the Quality store ones...

LOL! Sounds like MENARD'S up here! EVERY time I visit the store, they don't have what I'm looking for in stock. That's bad enough, but when you ask them to check their computer, and they say "it's in stock"..... . and you have to go to the "yard" to find it. IT'S NOT THERE! More that once, I've had to re-enter the store after spending time in their yard looking for something that's not there and wait in line for a refund. Last time it was wire fencing. I was sooooo upset that I went to every "lower level" employee, had them look for it and not find it, and then 2 supervisors. I said "OH, I guess when you tell me it's in stock, and I come back here NOT to find it, that MUST mean you are lying, right? One actually told me "yes" and walked off! Who knew? You'd think I'd learn, but I keep going there. They even threatened me that they would close my credit card account because of lack of use. Maybe I should have written back and told them that if they actually had what they say they had for sale, there would be no "lack of use".....

Menards!!!!!
Man I dislike that place!!!
I'm a carpenter and spend about $70K anually
for materials at the various lumber yards and home centers here. I have gotten so I will not even step foot in those D@^^^^ED Menards stores. Their quality is SO inferior and they make you feel like a criminal every time you pay for something.
I've gotten so that I will tell my customers that if they buy it at Menards I will not even install it. I know this is off topic but that Name
is like pushing the hostile button here.
