Has anyone noticed the LARGE increase in DOUBLE DOUBLE posts lately?

I believe it is due to a slowdown at the ytmag.com Internet connection or servers that compile the forum database info. Unfortunately, I thought it was just me but I guess when it "times out" on the first POST - I refresh and click it again and it works - we get double posts...

Maybe there is a good explanation here - like more forum guests? Would be interesting to see the MRTG reports from the local router to determine the load on the connection. In any case, I am betting that the case of the doubles will continue until something is fixed.

Andy

I usually have multiple screens up and I might go to another screen while its posting. Till I found out about the double post when I would come back I might hit the post button again because it wasn’t doing anything then would end up with double. I either wait longer if I’m not sure I already hit the button or close out the screen. Another problem is when I first come to the forum the newest post might be yesterdays and I have to refresh a couple times before it brings up the current. This has started just in the last few days.

I was positive I didn't double yesterday but it showed up as my goof anyway. I believe you're right.

Yesterday I was having trouble trying to post some pics. Confounded even worse by the slow posting and 2 of everything.
