Robert,
My apologies to you for the short and impersonal response. I should have considered the fact that you might have not ever known to look at the archives in the first place.

Plus excuse my rude behavior and welcome to the forum. Feel free to repost your questions without fear of my stupid negative responses.

Regards,
Andy

Now Andy, How would you feel if your questions got answered like that. Now that you have become more knowledgeable on N's how about sharing that information rather then a short impersonal message. This board is designed to ask questions ans get answers and make friends and not "SEE THAT SEARCH BOX UP THERE - TRY USING IT" Seems we've had THIS discusion before.....

Of corse that's only my opinion.

Tom

Tom, that is not the damn point. The point is that people should ask 1 question and wait for an answer before posting 3-4 questions in a row. We are not a paid assembly line here. If people were a little more considerate they would search before asking a lot of questions. If you cannot locate the answer, then fine - that is what this forum is about --- discussion.

It would just be nice if people used the extensive archive before posting dozens of repeat questions.

did someone elect you the forum moderator while I was away?

It seems to me that you are trying to moderate this forum more then anyone else. So let me put a question to you... Who elected you moderator of this forum? The beauty of an internet forum is that it is very easy and not quite so impolite to simply ignore and move past the comments/questions/opinions that you are not interested in. I did a little search of the archives and learned that you have been a tractor owner since March of this year... not exactly a lifetime of experience.
Patience my friend

I have to agree. Newcomers should be helped and not chastised.

Although searching the archives is a good way to learn, some questions aren't that easy to search. For somebody that is new to this it can be impossible to piece together a clear answer from hundreds of search returns.

Help the guy out or ignore him, but don't discourage him from asking.
