Can anyone help me, I have saved this board to my favorites, and lately I cannot bring up the latest topics. The posts stop where they were when I last checked in. I have to go to another board and then come back to this board to get the latest posts. Clicking on reload does not do any good. Thanx for any help that you can give me! Ron

You might have to hit "F5" key -- sometimes the refresh key (even though it is the same thing) doesn't work properly. You also might want to empty your netscape cache folders and start fresh - Select Preferences from Edit menu.
Click on Cache under Advanced in left column.
Click on Clear Disk Cache Now on right.
Click OK.

Hope this helps.

Andy

If you're using Netscape sometimes holding down the key while hitting the reload button will help. This should force the browser to reload the whole page from the network, bypassing its cache.

Other times when Netscape flakes out on me I just shut it down and start it back up, or sometimes even reboot the computer. If this doesn't help emptying out your cache might work...

I meant to say hold down the "shift" key while hitting reload... if you're using Explorer I don't know if this will work.

Hi Ron,

Clicking on "Refresh" should update the page. By changing your settings you can automatically load a new page regardless of whether it has changed or not. But if you have a slow connection, that's not a good solution. Try deleting all the temporary internet files and see if that takes care of the problem...Al English
