So I tried my idea of hanging the heavy implements to make hooking up easier. It works great. I have a chain hung from high up in the barn. You just back up to it with the implement about mid height and connect the chain to it. Let the weight down on the chain slowly and you can disconnect. When hooking up a back blade or hog you can swing it around easy to connect back up. Even connecting the stabilizer bars is easy. I put a link on the back blade that hangs it balanced so the three point end is about the right height. There is also an added benefit to having a Zane Thang on my tractor that you 8N guys don't have. While connecting up implements like this you can raise and lower the arms from behind the tractor using the back of the Zane Thang, real convenient.
