No, there are 100 things that could be the problem, but we might as well start with the most obvious. :) When you tried to lift something too heavy, it made your pump work real hard, which might have stripped out the breakable parts of the drive train, and this is easy for you to check without taking much apart. When the loader didn't lift, the oil had to go somewhere, so it pushed through your relief valve - that's what it is there for. However, they do act up sometimes, even just a piece of dirt clamped in it now letting a little oil bypass. It's something obvious that does fail from time to time. It could have just happened that your screen/filter got plugged at this time, or your pump could have wore out, or a hose seperated & restricts flow, or.... If you are like me & don't know much about hydraulics & don't have the pressure gauges, etc. - it might be time to head to a pro after checking the drive line. For me on a combine, one of the tappets (nylon pressure valve) kept craking, took me 2 days of harvest time to track down why my header was going up all the time, no matter what I did with the lever. It cracked in an odd way & confused even the experts. --->Paul
