My 2n hydraulics make a knocking sound when lifting a heavy load. When it has not run long enough to warm up it pulses as it raises. The Ford dealer says it is ok, but i do not think so.Any ideas?

The big question is, does the 3point hitch still lift well?

My 2N's pump will make a knocking noise when th fluid is low. I understand from previous posts that the knocking noise is not that big a concern.
