rear brake lever - how to remove slop from shaft?

My Dad's 9N has a lot of slop in the left rear brake pedal, and the clutch lever will occasionally 'hang up' on the left rear brake pedal, which swings over and interferes with the travel of the clutch.

What's the best way to eliminate the play on the brake lever - replace, rebush, other?

Thanks!

Randy, I think I would try putting a bushing in the arm. But, there might be some wear on the shaft itself, which would require build up and machining.
Good luck!!!
Dave
